Maragogype is a rare varietal that is also known as the elephant bean due to its unusual size. This Bourbon & Caturra blend, known as La Morita comes from the Fraijanes region just outside of Guatemala City and is produced by Ellen Prentice at Finca de Dios (God's Farm). This family farm is dedicated to quality, experimenting with processes and varietals while giving back to the community. We roast these beans to a Full City+ to bring you a nice dark coffee, excellent for espresso, rich and balanced with notes of dark chocolate and malt.
